Meals On Wheels and Elderly Nutrition Program

This program delivers nutritious meals to the home for older adults that cannot leave their homes. The meals are delivered by volunteers in the immediate area. Pearl Health Care participates in the Meals on Wheel program in the Carol Stream area.

For more information on a Nutrition Program in your area please call the Illinois Department on Aging Senior Helpline at (800) 252-8966 or visit the Meals on Wheels website at

Transportation is important and allows access to services such as health care, social and nutritional services and shopping. Sometimes transportation is the only link to the outside world that people may have. Providing this service can help prevent isolation and allows older adults to live more independently and have more social interaction. For more information on transportation services in your area contact the Illinois Department on Aging Senior Helpline at (800) 252-8966.

Wellness Checks

We offer free wellness checks to patients that have been on service with us who are at risk of re-hospitalization. This program includes a blood pressure check, review of blood sugar records when appropriate and general review of your overall health. If you have been a previous patient or cared for by one of our clinicians, contact us to learn more.
